Yes, our products and services are designed to comply with local regulations and standards, such as DECT, to ensure safe and compliant use. For specific information on the regulations applicable in your own area, please contact us at sales@globalsys.fr.
What are the risks of interference with other telecommunications equipment?
There is little risk of interference with other telecommunications equipment. The DECT standard theoretically offers 120 full duplex dynamic channels
Can your devices be integrated with other systems?
Yes, our devices integrate perfectly with all systems, whether developed by Globalsys or not. Our technology is designed to be adaptable and compatible, ensuring optimum interoperability with third-party solutions.
Can I use my own batteries or do I have to use Globalsys batteries?
To ensure optimum performance and maximum safety, Globalsys recommends using only the batteries certified for our equipment. The use of third-party batteries may affect the operation of the product, and Globalsys cannot be held responsible for any problems arising from the use of non-certified batteries.
Do you have local repairers or after-sales service?

What should I do if I can't connect a mobile to the base station?
You need to pair again the mobile to the base station, as follows:
- Mobile not registered to the base:
Press quickly the ON/OFF button twice on each unit.
- Mobile out of range from the base:
Move the mobile closer to the base station, the range is max. 300 meters.
- Mismatch in DECT modes:
Verify the DECT type and device type using the SoftLink application. Ensure the aircraft and ground station are set to the same DECT type for communication. Note that two bases cannot be subscribed to each other.

How long does it take to recharge a base station, beltpack or headset?
Recharge times for Globalsys Devices
- BAT406 and BAT407 batteries : less than 2 hours
- BAT440 and BAT441 batteries: less than 3 hours
These recharge times ensure your equipment is quickly ready for use, minimizing downtime.
How long do batteries last?
Battery lifespan for Globalsys devices
- BAT406: Retains 85% of its capacity after 400 charging cycles,
- BAT407: Retains 80% of its capacity after 300 charging cycles,
- BAT440: Retains 90% of its capacity after 400 charging cycles,
- BAT441: Retains 90% of its capacity after 400 charging cycles.
These figures provide an estimate of battery performance under typical usage. For best results, always follow the recommended charging practices.

Do I need a license to use wireless technology?
No, you don’t need a license to use DECT technology because it’s a royalty-free frequency band. So you can use our solutions without any additional administrative formalities.
