After a thorough selection process, CHC Helicopters in Norway has placed an order with GLOBALSYS to supply its Airlink 3085 IA wireless audio systems to equip CHC’s S-92 helicopters for Search and Rescue (SAR) activities and offshore transport in the North and Norwegian Seas. CHC operates one of the most extensive SAR and offshore transport networks in the world. “Our crews have been impressed by the easy plug and play integration of GLOBALSYS wireless into our helicopter operations”, says the head of operations at CHC Helicopters Norway. COUACH French shipyard has also entrusted GLOBALSYS to supply wireless communication systems for rescue vessels of Société Nationale de Secours en Mer (SNSM), the organization made up mainly of volunteers in charge of rescue at sea around the French coastal facades. COUACH program director highlights that “Airlink 3085 IA is a flexible solution that GLOBALSYS was quick to adapt to our boat design, which facilitated the work of our design and building team. Lifesaving operations and crew safety will be improved thanks to high quality wireless communication within the rescue vessels and between ships.” AIRLINK 3085 IA is a very efficient and performing wireless audio system with remarkable audio quality. AIRLINK 3085 IA can also include an amazing “Long Range” (up to 4 km line of sight) radio communication capability. This technology is perfectly suited for aerial and marine operations, both requiring high noise reduction and very clear communication for life saving operations. “These contracts confirm that GLOBALSYS Airlink 3085 IA wireless intercom is a perfect choice for SAR activities in harsh and noisy helicopter or marine environments. We have worked closely with both CHC and COUACH/SNSM to meet their requirements and contribute to life saving missions and a safer work environment. We are extremely proud of this success”, says Marc Charpentier, GLOBALSYS sales manager.
