GLOBALSYS equips the French Armed Forces helicopters with mobile communication systems – October 2022
We are extremely happy and proud to provide the French Army with AIRLINK 3085 IA, our innovative, robust wireless communication system that fully meets its needs.
In order to greatly improve safety and operational efficiency on board helicopters, the French General Directorate for Armaments launched a consultation to equip French Forces helicopters with wireless intercommunication means, which was won by GLOBALSYS.
Mission headsets for noisy operations
Indeed, these systems greatly increase the range of intra-crew communications, reduce noise pollution, while allowing hands-free work on board with very clear audio communication.
After having successfully passed all the rigorous qualification stages of its AIRLINK 3085 IA solution, GLOBALSYS delivered in 2022 the equipment to the Army (ALAT) as well as Air and Space Forces, to equip all of their fleet of utility and attack helicopters.
The machines equipped include the NH90 (CAIMAN), CARACAL, COUGAR and the TIGRE attack helicopters. The machines are thus equipped with a wireless system allowing full duplex communication between crew members, or with the ground support teams, with active and passive noise reduction, while offering great audio clarity enabled by the broadband audio transmission of the AIRLINK 3085 IA.
